conduct
BNKR is built around movement, music, community, and release.
Everyone should feel free to move, take up space, let go, and experience the room in their own way. That only works when we respect the people sharing it with us.
Our expectations are simple.
RESPECT THE SPACE.
Everyone has their own space on the floor. Give people room to move and be mindful of the bodies around you.
Accidental contact happens. Unwanted or intentional physical contact doesn't belong here.
NO JUDGMENT.
There are no moves to get right.
People will dance differently. Move differently. Dress differently. Sweat differently. Experience the room differently.
Let them.
No staring, mocking, commenting on someone's body, or making another person feel like they're being watched or evaluated.
CONSENT, ALWAYS.
Being friendly, dancing near someone, sharing a session, or meeting through the BNKR community does not imply consent to physical contact or further interaction.
Ask. Listen. Respect the answer.
DON'T BE A CREEP.
BNKR is a community, not a hunting ground.
Meet people. Make friends. Go dancing together. Just don't make other members uncomfortable with persistent flirting, unwanted attention, unsolicited messages, or behavior that doesn't respect someone's boundaries.
This applies on the floor, at BNKR events, and in our online community.
LET PEOPLE DISCONNECT.
Part of BNKR is getting out of your head and into the room.
Respect any phone, photography, and recording policies in place during your session. Never photograph or record another participant without their permission.
TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.
Listen to your body.
Slow down. Drink water. Take a break. Step off the floor. Stop entirely.
There is no prize for pushing through something that doesn't feel right.
If you see someone who appears to need help, check in or find a member of the BNKR team.
COME AS YOU ARE. DON'T COME IMPAIRED.
BNKR is a physical experience involving movement, heat, darkness, lighting, and loud music.
Do not participate while intoxicated or impaired in a way that could compromise your safety or the safety of people around you.
KEEP THE COMMUNITY GOOD.
Our Discord and other community spaces are extensions of the floor.
Share music. Recommend events. Find people to go dancing with. Talk. Debate. Be weird. Have fun.
Don't harass people, spam the community, repeatedly contact someone who isn't engaging, discriminate against others, or use the member list as a directory for unsolicited DMs.
SAY SOMETHING.
If something happens that makes you or someone else feel unsafe, tell a member of the BNKR team.
You don't need to confront another person yourself.
We will take concerns seriously and respond based on the circumstances.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO PROTECT THE ROOM.
BNKR may ask anyone whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, discriminatory, harassing, or repeatedly disrespectful of these expectations to leave a session or community space.
Serious or repeated violations may result in loss of access to future BNKR sessions and community spaces.
